Janeth Valenzuela, 38, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM. Janeth was born on September 4, 1984, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. 

Cremation has taken place, and a rosary is scheduled for 9:30 AM Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home, followed by a Liturgy Outside the Mass at 10:00 AM with Deacon Tony Dominguez officiating. Interment will take place at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM. 

Janeth was a very loving, kind, compassionate person. She was always a free spirit & was the life of the party. She loved her family & created amazing memories with many. She was loved and appreciated by so many people and could make a friend anywhere she went. Friends and family will always remember Janeth by her infectious laugh and humorous personality. She was a mother to two daughters and was very proud. Janeth loved her daughters and felt that they were her greatest accomplishment in life. One of her favorite things to do was take her two daughters on a joyride through Carlsbad and listen to her favorite songs by Justin Timberlake & Backstreet Boys, and she could memorize their songs with only a few listens. She loved dressing up with her sisters and dancing, taking road-trips, & taking her kids to the library 3 times a week. She impacted everyone she crossed paths with and will always be remembered as someone who was adventurous, beautiful, outgoing, & friendly to all she knew her.

Janeth was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Morales. 

Janeth is survived by her two daughters: Harmony Liddell of Lubbock, TX; and Haley Back of Carlsbad, NM; father, Bernie Morales of Carlsbad, NM; parents-in-law, David and Barbara Back of Carlsbad, NM; four siblings: Roberto Chavez of Carlsbad, NM; Annabel Haddo and husband, Daniel of Richmond Hill, VA; Evette Harvey and husband, Frank of Houston, TX; and Bernie Morales and wife, Sarah of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
