Jan Kacena

Jan Kacena, 76, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Carlsbad Medical Center. 

Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life for Jan, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Springer home. 

Jan was born on January 8, 1948, in Portland, Oregan to June Ethel Kendall and Leo George Kacena. She worked as a beautician for 60 years. Jan enjoyed cooking and needle work. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and June Kacena; brother, Alan Kacena. 

Jan is survived by her sisters, Joy Springer and husband Bob, Robin Kacena; brother, Glen Kacena and wife Jeri; sister in-law, Amelia Kacena; nieces and nephews: Jamie Springer, Lisa Springer, Jason Kacena, April Kacena, Jessica Diaz, Michael Kacena, David Kacena and Teresa Quinola; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
