James Roland Blair

James Roland Blair, age 74, a lifelong resident of Carlsbad New Mexico, passed away March 5, 2024 at Covenant Hospital in Hobbs, New Mexico. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Plumlee officiating and Pastor Joshua Crabb assisting.

James was born July 31, 1949 in Uvalde, Tezas to Clinton Lee Blair and Wilma Wallace Blair. He graduated from Carlsbad High School. James was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Blair, Daughter Cora Lee Blair, and his parents.

Survivors are his siblings, Bert Blair and wife Juanita, Kenneth Blair and wife Carla, Sister Carolyn “Kay” Blair, with numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
