Imogene Hunt

Imogene Hunt, 85, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away August 13, 2023 at Desert Springs Healthcare, Hobbs, NM.  A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Prairie Haven Cemetery, Hobbs, NM, with Brother Benny Greenlee officiating.  

Imogene was born September 15, 1937 in Risco, Missouri to Joseph and Mary (Graves) Apperson.  She drove a school bus in Hobbs for many years.  Imogene was a talented artist.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and camping.  Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey K. Hunt; daughter, Barbara Hunt; several grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are her son, Larry Hunt and wife, Patsy; daughters: Cynthia Webb and Sharon Hunt; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
