Ileyan Chavez

Ileyan Chavez, of Carlsbad, NM came and went to heaven on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Even though he was here for only a moment, he made a lasting impact in our lives. The pain of his passing is only softened by the hope of seeing him again one day. Ileyan will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Ileyan is survived by his parents: David D. Chavez and Nicole M. Sutherland-Contreras of Carlsbad, NM; six siblings: Zaden Chavez, Nayeli Chavez, Justice Sutherland, Jasmine Sutherland, Jacory Rodriguez, and Jasmine Rodriguez; paternal grandfather, Guillermo Chavez of Chihuahua, Mexico; paternal grandmother, Maria Duran of McCamey, TX; maternal grandfather, David Sutherland of Dexter, NM; maternal grandmother, Monica Contreras of Roswell, NM; and numerous other extended family members.
