Obituary Ida Molinar, 57, of N. 3rd Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 25, 2020. Visitation will be 5 PM - 7 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be limited to 30 people in the chapel at a time Private services will be held and interment will take place at 10:45 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM with Deacon Manuel Chavez officiating. June 25, 2020, at the age of 57, Ida Moreno Molinar departed home alongside our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ida was born March 15, 1963 in Carlsbad, NM, to Eliseo and Alice Moreno. Growing up as a child, she excelled in Carlsbad Schools. Ida met the love of her life, her husband, Armando Molinar season of 1979 at the local softball complex. They would then go on to get married two years later, November 13, 1981 and have two daughters: Amanda and Samantha. Ida was a devoted wife and mother, especially having adored her grandchildren with her whole life. The many who have been to the Molinars home know how passionate Ida was about her cooking. She was a part of the Carlsbad Schools Food Service Department over 15 years. One of the many things she enjoyed most was washing her truck, getting it ready to hit the road to the casinos with her husband, Armando. Ida always had enough love to go around; her love was contagious. To her husband, daughters, grandkids, brothers, sisters, she is truly an irreplaceable soul who had the upmost patience and understanding for anybody. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Evelyn and Linda Moreno; brothers: David, Henery, Gilbert and Raul Moreno. Survivors are her husband, Armando Molinar; daughters: Amanda Molinar and Samantha Garcia; grandchildren: Jonathan Sing, Jai Rodriguez, Nathaniel Hinojos, Avereigh Laguna, Adrian, Alayna and Aydin Garcia; brother and sisters-in-law: Olivia and Edward Rodriquez, Mary and Rick Onsurez and Raymond and Maria Molinar; sisters: Emma and husband, Armando Hernandez, Doris and husband, Steve Rubio, Ruby and husband, Ralph Olivas, Sandra Ramirez and Norma Castillo; brothers: Joseph Joey and Eliseo Cheo Moreno, Jr. Pallbearers are Jonathan Sing, Jai Rodriguez, Sabas Hernandez, Jr., Steve Rubio, Jr., James Aguirre, Joshua Moreno, Steven Moreno and Morris Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers are James Rodriguez, Jacob Hinojos, Robert Laguna and all her nieces and nephews.
