Guillerma V. Hinojos

Guillerma V. Hinojos, 80, of Loving, Nm, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at Lakeview Christian Home. Visitation will be at 5:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church followed by a vigil at 6:00 PM with Deacon Melvin Balderrama officiating. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Fr. Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Guillerma was born August 7, 1945, in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Geronimo and Juliana (Salcido) Vasquez. She married Vidal Hinojos May 5, 1973, in Carlsbad, NM. Guillerma enjoyed cooking, listening to country music and especially spending time with her family. She was a kind-hearted soul and will be deeply missed. Guillerma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Vidal Hinojos, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Rome and Chicago; four brothers and a sister.

Survivors are her husband, Vidal Hinojos, Sr.; daughters: Lydia Lara and husband, Ricardo, Gloria Carrasco and husband, Gabriel, Irma Lawler and David; grandchildren: Ricardo Lara, Jr., Tori Balcazar, Maryah Carrasco, Jasmine Lara, Jer Lara, Gabriel Carrasco, Jr., Ryan Carrasco, Miguel Luna, and Jaidyn Lawler; great-grandchildren: Rezin, Ashton, Augustine, Raulo, Ezekiel, Khalia, Alayia, Yaretzi, Xiatlali, and Lukas; sister, Elisa Franco and husband, Manuel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jer Lara, Gabriel Carrasco, Ryan Carrasco, Ricardo Lara, Jr., Miguel Luna, and Carlos Salcido.
