Glen "Snuffy" Smith

Glen “Snuffy” Smith, 78, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Carlsbad Medical Center. Glen was born on January 26, 1943, in Mountainair, NM to Wayne and Yvonne Smith.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday, November 22, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following there will be a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM with Bishop Ryan Williamson officiating. Interment is scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2021, at the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home and Harris-Hanlon Mortuary are in charge of arrangements.

Glen was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Smith; and mother, Yvonne (Anglin) Smith.

Glen is survived by his four daughters: Jeanine Otley and husband, Michael of Carlsbad, NM; June Hardison and husband, Chad of Hobbs, NM; Janet Evans and husband, Jordan of Jackson, AL; and Joyce Sowards and husband, Jesse of Las Cruces, NM; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings: Gary Smith and wife, Jill of Mountainair, NM; Gale Smith and wife, Doreen of Kirtland, NM; and Anita Granger and husband, Warren of Mountainair, NM; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Brandon Lewis, Gavin Hardison, Drew Hardison, Bryson Sowards, Cameron Sowards, Jarom Evans, Michael Otley, and Chad Hardison. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jesse Sowards, and Jordan Evans.
