Gina Pearl Sanchez

Gina Pearl Sanchez, 32, of W. Church St, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held, Friday, January 3, 2025, 2:00 PM at Word of Life, 1102 W. Mermod St. with Pastor Jason Shirley, officiating.

Gina was born August 24, 1992, in Lomita, CA, to John and Peggy (Sosa) Sanchez. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2010. Gina worked at Allsups, Walmart and Chevron. She always enjoyed a good outside bar-b-que and spending time with family. Gina was an avid Chargers fan. She was preceded in death by her father, John L. Sanchez; grandmother, Sundie Hernandez and grandparents, Gilbert and Nicky Sosa.

Survivors are her daughters: Ariela and Aviana Armendarez; mother, Peggy Mendoza and stepfather, Thomas Mendoza; grandfather, Rudy Hernandez; brothers: John Sanchez and wife Serrina, Joey Sanchez and wife Ashley, David Sanchez and wife Candice and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
