Obituary Gay Lynn Olsen, 66, of Old Cavern Highway, Carlsbad, NM, passed away November 15, 2020 at Lea Regional Hospital, Hobbs, New Mexico. Cremation will take place and private services will be held at a later date. Gay was born August 2, 1954 in San Angelo, Texas to Dale and Margie Ann (Lively) Bietendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her son, Daniel Greg Olsen and wife, April; daughter, Tonya Cox and husband, Chris; grandchildren: Melody Cox, Ashlin Cox, Kylie Olsen, Nathan Olsen and Hannah Sherwood; brother, Dale Bietendorf, Jr. and wife, Mary; sister, Beth Bietendorf and several nieces and nephews.
