Freddie O. Martin, 80, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Albuquerque, NM. Freddie was born in Carlsbad, NM on April 4, 1941, to Frank and Eliza Martin.

Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM with Deacon Manuel Chavez. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Frank Martin; mother, Eliza Martin; and step-father, Nathaniel Rodriguez.

Freddie is survived by his son Joseph Calderon; daughter, Karen Bensinger of North Augusta, SC; son, Freddie martin and wife, Kelly of Lindenhurst, IL; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Sonny Rodriguez and wife, Ruby of Midland, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
