She married James Ray Evrage January 1, 1977 at First Baptist Church in Cloudcroft, NM. At the time, Freddie was the manager of David James Ladies Clothing Store in Artesia. It wasnt long after, James Ray convinced Freddie to work with him at The Main Place and Mr. E which he already owned. Her hobbies included horseback riding, quilting, designing outfits and most of all caring for her grandchildren. Freddie was the best help mate God ever gave anyone. James Ray and Freddie worked in the clothing store side by side, went home together side by side and were side by side at the ranch until Freddie had to go to the Goodlife in July of 2019.
