Obituary Frances M. Escobedo, 81, passed away on February 1, 2020, at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad New Mexico. Frances was born on November 12, 1938, in Huntsville, Texas to Augustine and Luz Montoya. Cremation has taken place, and there are no services scheduled at this time. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of making arrangements. Frances was preceded by her father, Augustine Montoya; mother, Luz Montoya; and two children. Frances is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lisa Gerona of Ruidoso Down, NM; daughter, Felicia Escobedo of Ruidoso, NM; son, James Escobedo of Houston, TX; daughter, Cynthia Duffy of Houston, TX; three more sons; sister, Olivia Sandoval; brother, Jesse Montoya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
