Frances Ann Barnes

Frances Ann Barnes, 79, of W. Cherry Lane, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at Lakeview Christian Home. Cremation has taken place and private family services will take place.

Frances was born February 25, 1947, in Logan County, West Virginia to Elba and Lorene (Justice) Bellomy. She married Granville Barnes May 25, 1963. Frances was a collector of dolls. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and a variety of crafts. Frances loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always put God first in her life. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Granville Barnes; sister, Willa Townsend; brothers-in-law: Floyd Townsend, Gerald Barnes, and John Murasky; sister-in-law, Edith Reese.

Survivors are her daughter, Selena Farmer and husband, Kevin; grandchildren: Rhylea Farmer and Cylas Farmer; twin sister, Carolyn Murasky; brother, Frank Bellomy and wife, Gloria; brother-in-law, Gene Reese; sister-in-law, Mary Barnes and numerous nieces, nephews, honorary children and grandchildren.
