Evelyn Worley

Evelyn Inez Worley, 86, former resident, passed away June 14, 2026 in Hillsboro, Texas. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Monday, June 22, 2026 at New Song Christian Fellowship with Pastor John Wesley Burke officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Evelyn was born September 3, 1939 in Artesia, NM, to Albert and Cullia Rosazetta (Lyons) Mosley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lewis Worley; son, Curtis DeWayne Worley; sister, Bettie Sostrich and brother, Wayne Mosley.

Survivors are her sons: Ricky James Worley and wife, Jerri, John Richard Worley; grandchildren: Jennifer, David, Christopher, Crystal, T.J., and Spencer; great-grandchildren: Danny, Anthony, Doyle, Zoe, David, and Alina.
