Evelyn was a very outgoing person who always had a smile on her face. Very stubborn but we all loved her as she was. She would give you the shirt off her back and always put others before herself. Her smile and laughter could light up any room. She had a fun, adventurous spirit and was always willing to go along with anything.

She loved spending time at the river, camping in the mountains, and being surrounded by her family. Her daughter and grandson were her main priority, and the love she gave was unconditional.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Esperanza Castillo; maternal grandfather, Pablo Olivas Sr.; and great-nephew, Yovanni Angel Burris.

She is survived by her daughter, Aryana E. Montez and partner, Mauro Moreno; grandson, Emilio Moreno; parents, Albert and Hortencia Castillo; maternal grandmother, Elva “Mami” Olivas; sisters, Rosie Gonzalez and husband, Orlando Gonzalez, Sr., Andrea Castillo and partner, Robert Carrillo; and Christy Castillo; godparents, Rick and Sylvia Lujan; nieces, Destiny Gonzalez, Meli Mendez, Jacky Gonzalez, Daniela Gonzalez, Amaya Osuna and Nallely Siles; nephews, Orlando Gonzalez Jr., and David Mendez; great-niece, Yosh Tapia; great-nephew, Yadriel “boy” Burris; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Orlando Gonzalez, Sr., Orlando Gonzalez, Jr., Adrian Quezada, Manuel Quezada, Jr., Domingo Olivas, Jr., Andrew Burris, Angel Madrid and Gabriel Olivas. Honorary pallbearers will be Emilio Moreno and all nieces and nephews.
