Eustacia Visona, 21, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in Lubbock, TX after a tragic accident. Eustacia was born on December 27, 2000, in Palos Heights, IL to Jonathan Visona and Angela (Smith) Houston.
Eustacia was an amazing young lady. She was obstinate and determined, in the same sentence she was compassionate and sweet. Eustacia was an amazing daughter, sister and friend. She had fierce loyalty and love. She loved to dance and sing, she made sure everyone felt included. Eustacia’s smile brightened up the whole room. She loved to talk, and she knew how to spark up a good conversation.
We miss Eustacia more than ever. We didn’t get enough time together. Eustacia loved life, she always tried to think of the glass half full even when things were difficult. She was a sun that radiated understanding… now we have Eustacia looking down on us protecting us with her one of a kind energy. We wish we had more time together and are so grateful that she was a part of our lives.
Eustacia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas Smith; and great aunt, JoAnn Laws.
