Emma M. Loftis

Emma Marcella (Benefield) Loftis, born May 9, 1923 in Yell County, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 in her home in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by sister, June Mills of Albuquerque, brother, JD Sam Benefield of Carlsbad, children, Leo Loftis, Elizabeth Gibbs, Darrell Loftis and Jo Loftis all of Albuquerque, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were children, Thomas Swift, Jimmy Swift and Delbert "Mossy" Loftis. A private memorial service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Carlsbad Cemetery.
