Eileen "EiEi" Meyn

Eileen Meyn, 63, was born October 8, 1962 in Huntington, New York. She was a resident of Carlsbad, New Mexico and gained her golden wings on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

She is now reunited with her other angels, Father, Robert; Mother, Catherine; Brothers, Michael, Robert, Richard, James, and sister, Mary.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Deidre Eileen Combs of Carlsbad, New Mexico, her sister Kathy Voyles of Lovington, New Mexico, cousin Heather Clark of King George, Virginia, cousin Carolyn Vesper of North White Plains, New York, cousin Laura Mole of Huntington, New York, along with several nieces and nephews.

Eileen worked as a cashier for many years at Furr’s Grocery Store in both Lubbock, Texas and Lovington, New Mexico. She loved to cook, enjoyed watching movies, and her favorite television shows like the Price Is Right, Family Feud, and Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed playing solitaire on her computer. In the late 1980’s she appreciated the wind blowing through her hair while riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Eileen was quite the cool character and enjoyed laughing with friends and family.

What a generous, beautiful, and sweet soul she was. She will be dearly missed by friends and family tremendously.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
