Dwayne Robert Bowering of Coleman Texas Passed away at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene Texas on Wednesday May 27th 2026 with his two daughters Brittany and Brandi by his side.

Dwayne was born December 16, 1966 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada to Norman Bowering & Lorna (Morin) Bowering. He was the fourth child out of Five, being the only boy surrounded by girls. Dwayne’s parents moved from Canada to Leadville Colorado in 1969. Throughout his life he lived in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico. Dwayne’s dad’s line of work was Mining in which he eventually followed. He worked at the W.I.P.P site outside of Carlsbad New Mexico for some time until health issues stopped that for him.

Dwayne was a big time Denver Broncos fan and has been since he was a little boy in the suburbs of Denver. He loved almost anything to do with History and Native American history. He also loved Hockey, Art, Sketching and much more. He was proud to be from Canada and was not ashamed to say he was Canadian. Dwayne was also very proud of his two daughters and Five Grandchildren.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Bowering and stepmother Barbara Bowering. Mother Lorna Hawley. Both sets of grandparents Reginald and Rose Bowering and Maternal grandparents Charles Morin and Margaret Swampy. Also, his first-born child and only boy who was born sleeping, Tyler Steven Bowering.

Dwayne Leaves behind two daughters Brittany Bowering and Brandi Bowering both of Carlsbad New Mexico and Five grandchildren Jace, Olivia, Brantley, Kyler and Jade.

He also leaves behind four sisters, Debbie (Grant) Morin, Bonnie (Bobby) Heeter, Shelley (Steve) Kurschner, Lori Silva and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and Nephews, as well as stepfather Jim Hawley.
