Donna L. Nevarez

Obituary Donna L. Nevarez, 61, of Ortega Street Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at her home with her family. Donna was born on January 26, 1959, in Webb City Missouri to Gale and Helen Evans. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donna was an easy-going person who loved everyone. She was a hugger, and always made her friends and family fill special. Donna had two dogs, Shorty and Poncho, who she loved to dote on. She also enjoyed tiger and lions, and collected photos of them. Donna will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Gale Evans; mother, Helen Evans; sister, Vicky Jennings; and sister, Lisa George. Donna is survived by her husband, Mario Nevarez of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Gayle Baker and husband, Billy of Carlsbad, NM; sister, George Anna Stockton and husband, Jim of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Cathy Millard of Miller Grove, TX; brother, Charles Richard Chrisman and wife, Martha of Cyrene, MI; twelve nieces and nephews: Gayle Ghimire, Randy Baker, Cristy Betty, Robyn Coleman, Renea Palen, Bruce Millard, Rodney Millard, Stacy Taylor, Charles Richard Chrisman Jr., Christopher Martin, and Ricky McCarty; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and close friend Bito Dominguez.
