Diana Christine "Christy" Sadler

Diana Christine “Christy” Sadler, 76, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026.

Christy was born March 6, 1950, in McCamey, TX, to John Edwin “J.E.” McAnally and Edna L. McAnally. She graduated from Pecos High School in 1968, later attending West Texas University in Canyon, TX. Christy married Bill Sadler on Dec. 20, 1969, here in Carlsbad. Christy began her career at Eddy Federal Credit Union working her way through various positions and ultimately serving as Manager until her retirement in 2001. Christy was an avid reader and cat lover as well as a long-time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church serving on a number of committees. Later she attended First Baptist Church of Carlsbad.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.E. and Edna McAnally as well as her husband, Bill Sadler along with her brother, Ken McAnally and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Lee Sadler, and Billy F. Sadler. She is survived by her son, Kevin Sadler and wife, Jamie of Bristow, VA.; twin granddaughters, Addison and Ainsely Sadler; Sister, Cheryl Exum (Bob) of Abilene, TX; brother-in-law, Joe Sadler (Scott) of Palm Springs, CA along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Good Life Senior Living and Memory Care as well as Lakeview Hospice for their amazing support during her final years.
