Ricky D. Hudson

Ricky D. Hudson, 49, of Carlsbad, NM passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 cremation has taken place and a family celebration of Ricky’s life will take place at a later date. Ricky D. Hudson was born in Carlsbad, NM August 29, 1973 to Velda (Cupp) and Ronnie Hudson. He graduated from Bethel Christian Academy in 1994. Ricky completed truck driving school after graduating and drove a truck for over 20 years.

He married Aimee Dennis August 19, 1999. Ricky enjoyed woodworking, watching the Dodgers while being forced to be a Titans fan and keeping up with his aquariums. Most importantly he loved spoiling his granddaughter and his dog, Sally.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Aimee Hudson; son, Teddy Hudson; son Scotty Hudson and wife, Ashley; granddaughter, Everley Hudson; siblings: Karen Miller, Pam Briggs, Renee Dehan; nieces: Misti Sundberg, Diana Hudson, Cristal Alt and husband, Michael, Vanessa Hughie, Trisha Boyd, Ashley Hudson; nephew: Todd Briggs and wife, Avis and numerous great nieces & great nephews.
