Demetrio faced many challenges in his lifetime, yet with the love and support of his family, he overcame with pride and dignity. He was a man of few words, yet wise.
Demetrio had many hobbies, his favorite, spending quality time with family, in particular his brother, Felix and son, Demetrio, Jr. He enjoyed reading, studying and interpreting the bible in preparation for his weekly bible study. Demetrio enjoyed spreading the gospel of his Jehovah, always looking for a bible question challenge. As an avid animal lover, he was usually surrounded by them, from squirrels to horses. He loved them all dearly, and they were drawn to him, as if they knew he was a safe place. Demetrio was a safe place for people too, always eager to offer support and guidance. He will forever be carried in the hearts of those lives he touched and the people he loved.
Pallbearers will be Ernesto Trevino, Eric Trevino, Manuel Piña, Jr., Angelo Muñoz, Daniel Muñoz, Fernando Muñoz. Honorary Pallbearers Felix Muñoz, Demetrio Muñoz Jr., Noel Munoz, Manuel Piña, Sr., James Carlsen.
Son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. His spirit lives on in his family, and his essence in nature itself. From the dragonflies in the sky, to the blooming flowers around our feet, and everything in between, reminders of Demetrio are all around us.
“In this life, I was loved by you.”
