Obituary Danny Franco, 55, of Amber Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 in Carlsbad. Visitation will be 3:00 PM 7:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Oasis Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gabriel Rubio officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Danny was born January 25, 1964 in Carlsbad, NM. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1983. Danny worked in the oilfield all of his life and was known as a great salesman. He loved to sing George Strait songs. Danny was known as a giving person with a kind heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Galvan and Lisa Wilkinson. Survivors are his wife, Sarah Franco; twin daughters: Greta Rodriguez and husband, Josh and Gracie Smith; sons: Lee Franco, Jared Coy and wife, Taylor, J.R. Franco and Dustin Franco; daughter, Carly Franco; adopted daughter, Madison Barela; 8 grandchildren; mother, Eloisa Galvan; sister, Yolanda Contreras and husband, Ramon; brothers: Nick Galvan and wife, Kathy, J.D. McCormack; mother-in-law, Lavena Bland and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Daved Thomas, J.D.
