Danny Colwell, 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Carlsbad, NM.

Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be held at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Danny was born on March 15, 1936 to Johnny Colwell and Anna (McCullum) in Carlsbad, NM.

Danny was the owner and operator of Colwell Ranch. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved working, eating and sleeping. He was in the National Guard.
