Daniel Ray Forlines

Daniel Ray Forlines, 38, of Loving, New Mexico passed on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Daniel was born on July 15, 1983, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Ray Forlines and Susan Duncan.

Cremation has taken place, and the family will have a memorial service at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Loving Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Ryan officiating.

Daniel had a big heart, making friends wherever he went, and he always made sure to tell you God bless you and that he loved you. He loved music, and knew every lyric to any song that came on the radio. He had a special place in his heart for animals, which was pretty close to the spot where his love for vanilla milkshakes came from. Daniel also spent several years working at Precision Talley and the New Mexico Salt Mines. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Ray Forlines; two sisters: Tiffany Forlines and Charity Hamilton; maternal grandfather, Charles Duncan; paternal grandparents, Dan and Jennie Forlines; three uncles: Bud Duncan, Carl Duncan, and Jack Duncan; and two cousins: Michael Duncan and John Carl Duncan.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Susan Duncan of Loving, NM; son, Tyson Duncan and wife, Cassie of Carlsbad, NM; eleven nieces and nephews: Kase Jeramy, Railey, Chelsea, Anthony, Frankie, Daniel, Jacob, Joshua, Raelynn, and Elijah; maternal grandmother, Georgia Duncan; uncle, TJ Duncan and wife, April; two cousins: Kevin Forlines and Jason Howell; and numerous other extended family members.
