Cutter Lynn Rogers

Cutter Lynn Rogers, 42, of Merion Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 15, 2025. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Cutter was born November 26, 1982 in Carlsbad, NM. He graduated from Victory Christian Academy in 2001. Cutter worked for Otis Mutual Domestic Water for 21 years and served as manager for the past 17 years. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting with his kids and participating in anything else his kids enjoyed doing as he supported all their endeavors. Cutter never turned down the opportunity to ride his Harley. He was an excellent cook and catered many events. Cutter was preceded in death by his father, Ricky L. Rogers; grandfather, Ernie E. Wright; grandmother, Donna J. Smith and uncle, Jimmy L. Wray.

Survivors are his children: Charles Rogers and wife, Kaitlyn, Kenzie “BabyGirl” Rogers, and Chase Rogers; the children’s mother, Krista Rawe and husband, Joe; companion, Nicole Davis; mother, Lori Whitaker and husband, Michael; sister, Bambi D. Settle and husband, Tyson; nieces: Charlea Hein and husband, Blake, Joi Settle, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Treadaway, Lacy Miller, Henry Vasquez, Chad Nesbit, Keith Stephenson, and Randy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Whitaker, Hunter Meekins, and Tyson Settle.
