Cirilo Cortez, 82, passed away August 15, 2025 at his home in Carlsbad, NM.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM-6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil will follow at 6:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 21, 2025 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
