Catherine "Cathy" Brewer

Catherine “Cathy” Brewer, 72 of Carlsbad, NM, passed away November 15, 2021 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Roswell. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Cathy was born January 4, 1949 in Bradford, PA to William and Betty Jean (Heasley) Woods. She graduated from high school in Pennsylvania. Cathy moved to Carlsbad in 1980. She worked as a counselor for many years and became passionate in drug and alcohol counseling. Cathy aided in helping many individuals throughout the years. She will be remembered by many who received her special care. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric Behan Brewer; sister, Sandra Nuzzo and brother, Kenneth Woods.
Survivors are her daughters: Nicole Behan and Ryan McCarty and husband, Keith; granddaughters: Madigan and Shauna McCarty and several nieces and nephews.
