Calvin Crow

Calvin Leroy Crow Sr, 99, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Lakeview Christian Nursing Home. Calvin was born May 15, 1926 to N.E. and Myrtle Allen Crow in New Blaine Arkansas.

Private graveside services were held.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 64 years, Verlin Marie (Martindale) Crow, sister, Melba Hodges, brother Joe Crow, and daughter, Shirley Greene.

Calvin served in the United States Army, stationed in the Philippines during World War II. After serving, Calvin and Verlin moved to Carlsbad in 1948. Calvin retired from Beason’s Furniture.

Survivors include his children: Calvin (Leroy) Crow Jr. and his wife, Marian; daughter, Susan Cunningham and her husband, Randy; grandchildren: Greg Sensibaugh and wife, Stacey, Mike Sensibaugh and wife, Becky, Melissa Burns and husband, Bryan, Amy Feezor, and Calvin Leroy (Lee) Crow, III; Calvin had 11 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren, along with several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We would like to thank everyone at Lakeview Christian Nursing Home and the Hospice Team for taking such wonderful care of our dad.
