Bryon D. Villalpando

Bryon D. Villalpando, 28, passed away December 3, 2025 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Destry McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bryon was born with a rare kind of talent and a presence that left an impact everywhere he went. He could draw beautifully, sing effortlessly, and pick up almost any instrument and make it come alive. He was just as fearless on a skateboard or a BMX bike, always moving, always creating, always pushing boundaries.

Bryon was deeply empathetic and had a way of understanding people that stayed with them. He felt things intensely, and his compassion was evident in the connections he formed throughout his life.

Bryon’s creativity, his empathy, and the unmistakable energy he carried will not be forgotten. His family and friends will carry his spirit, his music, and his memory with them always.

He is loved and survived by his mother, Missy Davis; his father, Richard Villalpando; stepmother Josefina Villalpando; his sisters, Tatum Raley and Haley Yarbrough; his brother, Tyler Villalpando; and his two sons, Kyros Villalpando and Elijah Villalpando. He is also survived by his aunts, Connie Hernandez, Stormy Villalpando, and Polly Montanez; his uncle, Dennis Villalpando; and his grandmother, Diane Montoya; and many step-siblings and cousins.

Where pain once lived, peace now rests.

Pallbearers will be Casey Navarrette, Joshua Buchanan, Dennis Villalpando, Dustin Busby, Brian Moreno, and Tyler Villalpando.
