Becky Melissa Cathey

Obituary Becky Melissa Cathey, RN, 49 years old, died October 15, 2020 peacefully at home in Carlsbad, NM surrounded by her family. She was born July 9, 1971 in the Panama Canal Zone (US Military Facilities) to Doyle Yaho & Aurora Banks. Becky is survived by husband, love of her life, whom she married June 10 1989, and children, James Douglas Cathey & Desiree Yvonne Vander Meulen, Son-in-law, Jacob Vander Meulen and her pets, Weiner (Chiweenie) & Jack (Doberman pinscher). Becky was a selfless wife, mom, sibling, friend, dog/cat rescue & RN for 20+ yrs (ER, Hospice & Home Health). Becky loved to travel, explore outdoors, yoga, and live life to the fullest. There will be no public service.
