Barbara Chatfield Saul

Barbara Chatfield Saul, 90, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 27, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. Cremation has taken place and private interment will be at East Hill Cemetery in Ft. Stockton, Texas.

Barbara was born February 17, 1933 in Caballo, NM to Oliver and Ollie Maye (Ready) Chatfield.  She married Lightsey N. Saul June 18, 1951 in T or C, NM.  Barbara worked for Safeway as a grocery clerk many years. She also worked as a school bus driver. Barbara was known to wave at everyone that passed by her house.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lightsey N. Saul, Sr.; brothers: Fredrick A. Beck and Donald R. Chatfield.

Survivors are her son, Lightsey Nathan Saul, Jr.; grandson, Robert Chase Saul and wife, Amanda; nephew, Jimmy Chatfield; special friend, Mandy Lunsford.
