Alonso O. Navarrette

Alonso O. Navarrette, 82, of E. Derrick Road, Carlsbad, NM, passed away January 4, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center, Hobbs, NM.  Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. 

Alonso was born October 3, 1940 in Coyame, Mexico to Jose and Victoria (Ortega) Navarrette.  He worked as a rancher and farmer in the early years.  Alonso worked at the potash mines and more recently in pipeline construction.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jessie Navarrette; sons: Leroy and Lonnie Navarrette and grandson, Eric Navarrette.  Survivors are his son, Alonso M. Navarrette and wife, Gloria; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and sister, Chita Santillan.  Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
