Alicia Briseida Madrid

Alicia Briseida Madrid passed away on February 20, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. 

Alicia was born to Elisa and Timothy Madrid. She graduated from Faith Christian Academy in 2012 and spent much of her adult life working in the food industry, where she was known for her work ethic and kind spirit. Above all, Alicia loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Madrid, grandparents, Fernando and Bertha Duenez, and Alicia (her namesake), and Manuel Madrid. 

She is survived by her daughters, Amelia and Mia; her mother, Elisa; sisters, Bertha and husband Jeremiah; Alexa and husband Justin; Nyleen and husband Lalo; brother Timothy as well as nieces and nephews; Annaiese, Jay, Kylie, Jenna, Ava, Jaxon, Daniel, Georgia, Ila, Dayleen, David, Aleya, Angeleen, Nayeli, Lilibeth, Yadira, Timothy, Samuel, Mateo, Manuel, Isaiah and extended family members who loved her dearly.

 Pallbearers are Jeremiah and Jay Norris, Justin Tyre, Daniel, Michael and Angel Madrid, Abel Duenez and Mario Bojorquez.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2026 at IAFCJ Carlsbad with Rafael Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
