Aiden Bassett

Aiden Eiros Bassett was tragically taken from us on May 15, 2025.

Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Carlsbad, NM.

He was born on February 16, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM to his mother, Katherine.

He was a happy baby, always wanting to be in the middle of everything. Aiden was a smart and caring person. He would always try to help out at school. Aiden loved playing his games, especially online with his friends. He loved hanging out with his friends any chance he got. Aiden was adamant about being a game programmer and a YouTuber. Though Aiden was only with us for a short 15 years, he impacted many people. He always brought joy and laughter, no matter where he was.

Aiden is survived by his sisters: Le Christa Armstrong, Katie Russell, Vanessa Sides, Patricia Sides, Atarah Sides; brothers: David Russell, Ryker Sides; mother, Katherine Sides; Fathers: David Hurst and Michael Sides; grandparents, Karen and Dennis Navarrete, John and Danni Bassett, Joyce and Jerre Hurst, Norma and Mark Williams; aunts and uncles: Macie Bassett, Trent Navarrete, James Bassett, Elizabeth and Matthew Sides, Sarah and Michael Byers, Shelah and Sid Sides, Tytian Edgar; many cousins including Easton Click, Eddie Sides, Westley Sides, Salicia Sides, Elliana Sides, Lilly Sides, Edyn Sides, Willow Sides, Malachi Sides, Kimberlee Byers, Ethan Byers, Seth Byers, Skylah Byers, Brianah Byers, Jon Byers; and extended family and friends.

Aiden is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Sides; uncle, Michael Bassett; cousin, Caden Byers.
