Ozzy Scott “Ozman” Brown, 28, of Vermont Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at University Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David W. Rogers officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ozzy Scott “Ozman” Brown was born August 20, 1990 in West Jordan, Utah. He moved to Carlsbad in 2006 and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2009. Attended NMSU-Carlsbad and was in the Welding program where he received his Certificate of Welding. Ozzy loved welding and even taught classes at the high school through the college. He loved spending time with his wife and daughter doing puzzles, games and cooking with his family. Ozzy enjoyed listening to music while having his nails painted by his daughter. He will be forever in our hearts by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors are his wife, Cydney Pennington of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Rory Brown of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Anita Brown of Kearns, Utah; fathers: Sean Harrison and Jon Hardin of Carlsbad, NM; brothers: Dustin Brown and Joshua Brown; a nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
