Sam Dorado

Sam is a native of Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1993. He attended New Mexico State University - Carlsbad for two years studying criminal justice.

Sam graduated from New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy in Hobbs in 1999 and went to work for the Eddy County Sheriff's Department that same year. He worked as a Criminal Investigator within the Special Investigation Unit. He is now employed with the Carlsbad Police Department. Sam works part-time at Denton-Wood Funeral Home as a Funeral Service Associate.

Sam and his wife, Dedee, have three children: Brien, Nathan, and Emily.
