Robert H. "Bob" Lewis
Funeral Service Associate

Bob was born at St. Francis Hospital in beautiful downtown Carlsbad, New Mexico. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1955. Bob worked for Handy Andy TV and Appliance in Sacramento, California from 1955 to 1971, except for 92 days in the U.S. Army in 1960.

Bob worked from 1971 to 1974 in ranching and farming. He then moved back to Carlsbad in June 1974 and was self-employed in his trucking business until 1976. Bob was the Appliance Manager at Skeen Furniture Company from 1976 to 1980. He operated his own appliance store, A-1 Appliance, from 1980 to 1985. He then came back to Skeen Furniture Company as the Store Manager from 1985 to 1989.

From 1989 to present Bob has worked as a Preneed Consultant and Funeral Service Associate with the funeral home. He has been the Bi-vocational Minister of Music and Minister since 1980 with the Lakewood Baptist Church in Lakewood, New Mexico.

Bob is married to Marilyn and they have four grown children: Kevin, Lisa, Sherry and Kimberly; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-children.
